March 14, 2016

Ready to pop your vegan cherry? Let's do it because eating vegan food in Los Angeles gets easier every day it seems. There are so many vegan restaurants here now and I'm convinced you can have pretty much anything you want and still keep a vegan diet. *Grateful*

From Mexican food to comfort food, these top 5 vegan restaurants in Los Angeles will get you feeling the vegan vibe faster then you can say... cow?

Health Nut: Café Gratitude (Various Locations)

Not only is everything 100% organic and vegan but Café Gratitude focuses on elevating the vibration of the entire restaurant with what they call "sacred commerce." They encourage an appreciation for everything and full body awareness as part of the dinning experience. Menu items are all labelled as positive affirmations and it is encouraged to order using the prefix "I am."  The 'I am' Whole bowl is one of my favorite go-to dinner options and of course I don't miss an opportunity to be 'Immortal', which is one of their divine hot reishi tonics.  "I am love!"

Comfort Food: Veggie Grill (Various Locations)

While it does have a plethora of healthy options, if you've got a hankering for something a little heavier, Veggie Grill has you covered. From buffalo bombers and buffalo chicken strips to delicious curry bowls you won't even know it's vegan.  (Shhh..!) Make sure you save room for desert because the carrot cake is out of this world and the pudding parfait will literally blow your mind!
